Symphony Factory - Strings worx

The Symphony Factory will host a Strings Worx session for children aged 6-18 of all musical levels. It is a single day event. The session will be divided into three groups - a beginner group, an intermediate group and an advanced group. Each group will work on a piece. At the end of the day, all three groups will perform together. Sessions are led by acclaimed string players. Violin, viola, cello and double bass pupils are welcome to join. For the beginner levels: pupils MUST be able to make an independent sound on their instrument and be able to play with all four fingers on the fingerboard. Pupils should already be taking weekly lessons in their instruments. Pupils should bring their own instrument and a music stand. Lunch is provided, but pupils should bring their own snacks.
