Toronto Maties breakfast hosted by SWAN - Let’s celebrate spring together!

To all our Maties in Toronto and Ontario

After a long and chilly Canadian winter, what better way to step into spring than gathering with fellow Maties for a morning of great conversation, connection, and celebration.

We are excited to invite you and your partner to the annual SWAN Toronto Women’s Breakfast – a warm and welcoming morning where Stellenbosch University (SU) alumnae can reconnect, share stories, and be inspired.

This event is open to both the men and women Maties. Non-alumni guests are also welcome.

Date: Saturday 24 May 2025

Time: 09:00 – 12:00

Venue: Markland Wood Golf Club (Toronto)

Cost: $22 (This is billed in South African rand as R280 on the platform, and covers your direct breakfast cost. SU is paying for the venue.)

Join us as we celebrate the beauty of spring at this stunning venue. Think of it as a little slice of Stellenbosch greenery right here in Ontario. There will be great conversations, meaningful connections, and, of course, a delicious breakfast to enjoy together.

• Angela Nicolaidis – Director and Chief of Staff, BMO Financial Group, a cloud evangelist and technology strategist, with deep experience in cloud engineering.
• Cindy Thomas – Director of People and Communications, KONE, an executive HR leader, coach, and trusted business advisor, with key global experience in transformational leadership.

You can make a difference by helping our future leaders, scholars, and change-makers focus on their studies without unnecessary barriers.
