Maties Rugby, officially known as the Stellenbosch Rugby Football Club, is South Africa's second-oldest rugby club, founded in 1875.

This year, we mark an extraordinary milestone: the 150th anniversary of Stellenbosch University Rugby Club.

This Reunion weekend is more than a historical marker; it celebrates our shared journey and the enduring bonds that unite the Maties Rugby community. We aim to honour the past while embracing the future, with events and gatherings planned throughout the year to bring alums, supporters, and current players together in celebration.
