ABOUT

Mr Nhamo Malamba Mhlanga

27 Aug 1977 - 29 May 2017
RIP

On Monday 29 May, there was an unexpected tragedy when a road accident occurred on the M3 highway inbound, involving our good friend, Mr Nhamo Malamba Mhlanga. He was on his way to Spin Street to work on renovations. En-route he had to suddenly stop to change a tyre on a blind corner and whilst doing so in this precarious situation, he was unfortunately hit by a passing vehicle, who's driver did not see him. He was rushed to hospital but sadly did not survive the ordeal.

This incident has shocked and hurt us all, and the family - being based in Zimbabwe - need our support to repatriate the deceased and host a proper burial in his home community. We are putting out this appeal to our wider community to please help the family by making a donation to assist in covering these costs. All donations will go to supporting the family through this trying time and are deeply appreciated.

Please spare a moment for this hard-working, kind-hearted man and hold his family in your thoughts and prayers. May he Rest In Peace.

Mr Mhlanga leaves behind a daughter of 3 years old, wife, younger brother, and parents, along with many caring relatives and friends.

FYI
Mr Mhlanga's funeral arrangements alone from Cape Town to Chipinge area in eastern rural Zimbabwe, are at a minimum cost of R21,000 - and some of the extended family are giving up 100% of their wages to fund this, and that is still not nearly enough. As a bare minimum we would like to be able to support the family to cover these costs as well as help support the deceased's dependents however else we can. We are investigating a Road Accident Fund claim, but this can take many years and there are no guarantees. This crowdfund is an absolute necessity. Thank you in advance for your kind support.

Please share this initiative and help in any way you can, and please ask your friends and family to donate what they can afford - any amount big or small. This is a humble appeal from a devastated family.

Please get in touch via [email protected] if you have any questions. Thank you and God bless.
