Tasting room - Madagascar vanilla

Madagascar is very rich in natural resources and due to the colour of the land is also referred to as Red island. One of their famous export products is vanilla, considered as the Malagasy black gold. The vanilla of Madagascar grows mainly in the region located in the North East of the island and is an important part of the population's income. For several years, Madagascar has been the largest producer of vanilla in the world, processing nearly 85% of the world volume. 

Vanilla is the second-most expensive spice because the entire process of growing the vanilla seed pods is labour intensive.
