The Mark Fransman The ‘Homage’ Project

The Mark Fransman ‘Homage’ Project celebrates some of South Africa’s most iconic jazz musicians and seeks to spotlight them as national treasures.

The project pays homage to such greats as Zim Ngqawana, Winston Mankunku, Hotep Galeta, Sibongile Khumalo, Errol Dyers, Robbie Jansen, Bheki Mseleku to mention but a few. Each ‘tribute’ comes in the form of an original composition (or suite), composed by Fransman.

The project features some of South Africa’s most talented musicians in Stephen De Souza on bass and Kevin Gibson on drums. Fransman features on piano and saxophones.

Doors open at 5pm show starts at 7pm
