Stellenbosch’s own guitar legend, Basson Laubscher, is back in full force. A Sama-nominated powerhouse, he’s known for his face-melting solos and relentless grooves that’ll make you move like you’ve never moved before. Dubbed the Rory Gallagher of South Africa, Laubscher is a veteran of nearly 15 years, and when he picks up that guitar, it talks, screams, and whispers in ways you won’t forget.

Opening the night, Earth Blues is one of the hottest new acts to storm the scene. Channeling the spirits of Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Albert King, they crank the blues up to 11 and bring it straight to your soul. These guys know how to light up a crowd—expect raw energy, killer riffs, and a vibe that’s guaranteed to leave you begging for more.
