Due to popular demand from last year, our inaugural market returns. This show is dedicated to showcasing visionary designers and fresh South African labels that are redefining style and pushing creative boundaries. Discover innovative collections that blend modern aesthetics with sustainable practices and materials.

Conscious Catwalk:

Prepare to be stunned by our exclusive runway show. This year the catwalk is opened by a performance art that tells the story of the artworks we are raising for: The Phoenix transforming into the Peace Dragon. This is both a visual representation of the peace movement we are starting and a statement on sustainable fashion as all items representing the Phoenix & Peace Dragon are made from upcycled t-shirts. The fashion and show are created by Shona Macdonal, Peace Dragon Mother, and the founder of the Burn Out Bizarre.

Following this spectacular show the runway opens up to the one-of-a-kind creations by other visionary South African designers. This is not your typical fashion show—these extraordinary pieces are crafted with unmatched creativity and are entirely unique. Each look is a work of art. These are the rare, limited-edition items you won’t find anywhere else—truly special garments that tell a story and set you apart from the crowd.

• Fashion Show:

Enjoy access to the market, AND grab a seat for our fashion show! This is an hour and long show, full of theatrics, so you are going to want to have a comfortable seat to fully enjoy the entertainment. Your seat also gets you an auction padel to bid on your favourite one of a kind items from the local designers.

• Front Row VIP:

Secure exclusive front row seat at the fashion show along with full access to the market, includes auction padel to bid on your favourite looks.

About the Phoenix:

The Phoenix is our mutant vehicle symbolizing transformation. This innovative truck roams the playa towing a lounge trailer, inviting festival-goers to experience its dynamic energy. From the transformative flames of the Phoenix in 2025, the Peace Dragon will rise in 2026. In a powerful symbol of rebirth, we’re creating a ceremonial egg that will be burned to unveil the soul of the dragon.

About the Peace Dragon:

The Peace Dragon is both a peace movement and an awe-inspiring art installation—a giant white dragon that illuminates in every colour of the rainbow after dark. It reminds us that peace and love start from within, encouraging you to tap into bliss through playful connection. Twice daily, the Peace Dragon takes flight to a new resting spot on the playa. While grounded, she offers sanctuary under her expansive wings, creating a quadraphonic listening experience for live performances and electronic music.
