ABOUT

This year the College will be performing ‘Twelve Angry Men,’ a courtroom drama that explores the dynamics of a jury deliberating the fate of a young man accused of murder. The play follows twelve jurors as they initially vote to convict the defendant, but one juror, Juror 8, stands alone in advocating for a fair review of the evidence. Over the course of intense discussions, personal biases, prejudices, and moral dilemmas come to light, causing each juror to re-examine their stance. The play highlights the complexity of human nature, the importance of justice, and the power of group influence in decision-making.
