Coaching Conversations

Thu Feb 27, 11:00 - Thu Mar 6, 13:00

ABOUT

Many leaders struggle with accountability, initiative, and autonomy in their teams. People play it safe, take the obvious route, or simply stay stuck. What if, instead of solving problems for them, you could help them unlock their own best solutions—ones they are more likely to act on?

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use coaching conversations to help others think deeply, take ownership, and move forward with clarity. Specifically, you’ll:

  • Strengthen your listening skills—Learn to gauge your listening effectiveness and refine it for greater impact.
  • Master strategic questioning—Develop the ability to ask questions that reveal root issues, spark insight, and lead to actionable solutions.
  • Practice the full arc of a coaching conversation—Gain confidence in guiding conversations from challenge to commitment.
  • Learn how to “show up” as a coach—Understand the mindset and presence required for effective coaching.
  • Observe expert coaching in action—Watch a professional coaching session and hear an experienced coach break it down.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only have sharper coaching skills—you’ll rethink what leadership means. You’ll see that people are far more capable than you assume, and that when they discover their own answers, the results speak for themselves.

This is a hands-on learning experience, led by a highly qualified and experienced professional coach. Coaching isn’t just a skill—it’s a leadership necessity. Ready to make it yours?

MEET YOUR WORKSHOP LEADER

Antoinette Coetzee | PCC, ORSCC, ICE-AC

Antoinette partners with leaders on their developmental and leadership journeys, helping them recognise where they may be standing in their own way. She provides an objective yet deeply supportive space for growth—bringing warmth, presence, and a belief in her clients even when they doubt themselves.

She views vertical development — the growth of one’s inner game—as essential for leadership. She facilitates this process by meeting clients where they are while refusing to accept the self-imposed limitations that hold them back. With a combination of deep care and tough love, she challenges them to step into their full potential. Having been an organisational leader herself, she understands the complexities of leadership, including navigating conflict, organisational politics, and large-scale transformation.

Antoinette works best with clients who are serious about their growth and ready to challenge themselves and do the work. She believes people change when they are ready, not a minute before or after. Her role is to help them uncover their next step, whether it’s mastering a skill or dismantling a deeply held limiting belief. Through this process, her clients develop greater confidence, take bolder risks, build stronger relationships, and foster high engagement and performance within their organisations.

Her favourite approach is working with leadership teams, where personal, team, and organisational growth happen simultaneously. She specialises in conflict resolution, creating alignment, and helping teams find renewed purpose. She also coaches senior and executive leaders and other coaches, and runs an 8-month vertical development leadership program. With a long history of developing Agile Enterprise and Team Coaches, she leads extended cohort programs focused on both competency-building and vertical growth.

Her coaching journey began in 2009 as an Agile coach. She trained as a professional coach in 2012 and became a certified Organisational and Relationship Systems Coach in 2019. Her vertical development model is grounded in the Leadership Development Framework and Leadership Circle, which she is certified in.

Because Leading happens through Speaking, developing communicative competency is central to her work. Using Structural Dynamics and Coaching the Childhood Story (David Kantor), she helps clients make radical shifts in how they engage and lead. Between 2020 and 2022 she trained as an interventionist to deepen this work.

Her clients include technology companies, banks, financial services companies, learning and development companies, pharmaceutical companies, non-profits, and retailers.

She believes: "Our presence is the most powerful leadership tool there is."
