Music & Tech Conference and Live Music Showcases

If you are in the music space, whether as an artist, manager, label, booking agent, etc, you will know how globally technology is leading the music space. Major music distribution companies like Spotify and Apple are not your traditional record labels but rather technology companies. Then there is the advent of AI and NFTs and many others. This wave continues to grow and the future of music lies predominantly in tech space. As South Africans, we cannot afford to be left behind and need to jump onto the bandwagon. This event is meant to do exactly that. Music and Tech is an event that brings together various experts to come share knowledge on key tech topics that involve the music space. It will comprise of panels, solo speakers, mini workshops, keynotes and some live showcases/performances to keep the audience entertained. South Africans are tech savvy and thus it's up to us as the creative sector to move the music industry into that space where we can meet the demand of the customers. Topics like AI, NFTs, Legal implications, Mobile Apps, Innovation and the future technologies coming up will all be tackled. The event is supported by the National Arts Council.
