Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating Marine Protected Areas Day with a special screening of "Wild Coast Warriors" - a powerful 52-minute documentary showcasing coastal communities and conservationists fighting to protect South Africa's pristine Wild Coast waters.

Q&A session with filmmaker Nick Chevallier and special guests from the cast, and False Bay Hope Spot representatives

About the Film:
This documentary tells the inspiring David and Goliath story of how amaMpondo communities successfully halted Shell's oil and gas exploration through a groundbreaking court case, protecting their ocean, culture, and sacred connection to the sea. The film celebrates indigenous resistance and demonstrates how combining cultural heritage, legal action, and environmental activism can tackle climate catastrophe and biodiversity loss

Q&A Panel: Filmmaker Nick Chevallier, plus additional special guests including key figures featured in the documentary, including Co-Director Leigh Wood, marine mammal ecologist David Mills, and Pooven Moodley of Natural Justice.
