Vuyo is a growth-focused CEO with over 25 years of experience driving technology and business transformation across banking, telecoms, insurance, and tech. As Managing Director of NEXT176 at Old Mutual, he leads innovation, partnerships, strategic investments, and venture building across Africa. Previously, he served as Chief Digital and Data Officer at Old Mutual and held executive roles at Standard Bank and Vodacom. A registered Professional Engineer, Vuyo holds an MBA, an MSc in Electronic Engineering (cum laude), and a Stanford Executive Programme certification.
Thapelo Nthite is the Co-Founder and CEO of Botlhale AI, a pioneering company building state-of-the-art natural language processing tools for African languages. These AI-powered solutions enable businesses to engage with their customers in languages they understand and trust. A Mechatronics Engineering graduate from the University of Cape Town, Thapelo is passionate about driving digital inclusion by breaking down language barriers in technology.
Dylan Walls is the COO of Bitprop, a township property investment platform focused on unlocking the potential of township spaces for entrepreneurial homeowners. With over six years of impact experience in the township backyard development industry, Dylan leads much of the operations in this innovative investment model that drives sustainable growth and creates value for investors and communities in a scalable way.
Imtiyaaz is a tech entrepreneur passionate about addressing Africa’s mobility and payment challenges. As a third-generation minibus taxi entrepreneur and founder of Loop—an award-winning startup—he is transforming public transport through innovative digital ride-booking and payment solutions. Dedicated to community upliftment, Imtiyaaz is committed to driving meaningful change in emerging markets.
