The Listening Session - with Guy Buttery
The Westville Theatre Club is excited and honoured to share that the extraordinary multi-instrumentalist, Guy Buttery - a familiar name to many - will be sharing his music with us on Friday, 21st February 2025.
This will be an extremely rare opportunity to see and hear Guy in a very intimate setting playing live tracks as well as sharing his most recently recorded orchestral works and unpacking this creative process in a Q&A format. This is an invitation to immerse in an intimate evening of sound and storytelling, where Guy will take us on a sonic journey through his most recent album, ‘Orchestrations’ - an orchestral project 12 years in the making, described as something of a ‘magnum opus’.
There will be some listening and there will be some conversation. So bring yourselves, family, friends, and a curious mind - as well as your questions and reflections - as we dive into this unique exploratory experience. Patrons are welcome to bring their own food and drinks.
