Cyclone Malone and the Wattalatta River Pirates
Sat Mar 8, 18:30 - Sat Mar 8, 20:15
The Masque Theatre
ABOUT
Get ready for one tall tale of adventure as Sheriff Cyclone Malone must protect his town, Yazoo Junction, from evil pirates! The pirate captain, along with two bumbling crewmen, have somehow managed to build a submarine – with torpedoes! – and are sailing on the river outside of town. Cyclone and his faithful albeit fussy horse, Cucamonga, must save the day. Luckily, a few other characters as Gus the Ghost, Chief One Lone Feather, Cozy Dumond (Cyclones Gal) and the buzzard Burgess, lend a hand. Not to mention new to the town- deputies Sam and Petunia!
Expect quick sword / umbrella fights, pistol banging cues for “music of doom” and melodramatic poetry to add to the fun.
Cyclone Malone is originally based on a TV Show that was aired in 1949 and were originally all played by puppets - its a wild western with a twist! Come and enjoy a night out for the family with some live music to set the country scene.
