Ever Suffered from Writer’s Block?
 
All writers experience the dreaded block at some point in their endeavours. It’s a completely normal but totally frustrating state of being. Join master editor Kirsten Alexander for a half-day workshop exploring the reasons writer’s get blocked and those important tips on how to overcome the obstacles to flow. ‘Breaking Through The Block’ is a highly interactive workshop and you’ll leave equipped with essential tools to aid you in overcoming our familiar foe:  Writer’s Block.
 
The workshop will help you understand:
  • Common reasons for the block.
  • Surprising sources of inspiration.
  • How to find your uniqueness.
  • Proven habits to avoid the block
 
Group discussions and writing exercises will be included, as well as the opportunity for one-on-one coaching with Kirsten or Dave Henderson the founder of the self-publishing platform – MyeBook. You will also have valuable networking time with other writers.
 
Tea, coffee and snacks will be served.
 
What to bring: Your favourite writing tools (notebook, pen, or electronic devices) AND your favourite sentence either by your favourite writer, or your own.
