SPEAKER
Hans Otterling is a veteran venture capitalist and entrepreneur with decades of experience in scaling and investing in transformative companies. As a Partner at Northzone Ventures since 2006, he has helped manage $1.5 billion in assets, supporting a portfolio that includes 2 decacorns (Spotify and Klarna) and 14 unicorns. He is also a Founding Partner at Norrsken22, focused on driving innovation in emerging markets.
Before his VC career, Hans was a serial entrepreneur, founding and exiting three market-leading businesses, including Waymaker and RIM, and playing a key role at StreamServe Inc. His expertise spans fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, and internet security.
Hans holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and the University of Massachusetts (Fulbright Scholar). With a passion for entrepreneurship, he continues to back innovative companies like HappyOrNot, Tobii, and Outfittery, shaping industries worldwide.
