ABOUT
Die Afrikaanse Taalmuseum en -monument (ATM) is op SATERDAGOGGEND, 19 APRIL 2025, die perfekte plek vir paaseiers, pieknieks en pryse! Met die paashaas wat oornag eiers en kleurvolle items wegsteek, kan oud en jonk, maar veral jonk, seker weet dat ’n prettige soektog in die pragtige tuine van die monument op hulle wag.
Naas die gratis paaseiers is talle pryse ook tussen 09:00 en 12:00 op die spel. Boonop is daar speelparke, kunsvlyt en buitelugspeletjies wat korte mette sal maak met kinders se sjokolade-energie terwyl familie en vriende rustig die monumentale beeldhouwerk kan besigtig.
Besoekers is welkom om hul eie pieknieks en drankies (geen glas) te bring of vooraf ? piekniekmandjie by die Suikerkan via 082 856 1871 of [email protected] te bestel – hierdie bistro sal ook verversings tydens die geleentheid verkoop.
Die toegangsprys is slegs R40 per volwassene, R10 per kind en GRATIS vir jaarpermithouer.
On SATURDAY MORNING, 19 APRIL 2025, the Afrikaans Language Museum and Monument (ATM) is the perfect place for Easter eggs, picnics and prizes! With the Easter Bunny hiding eggs and colourful items overnight, young and old, but especially the young, can be sure that a fun hunt awaits them in the beautiful gardens of the monument.
Besides the free Easter eggs, numerous prizes are also up for grabs between 09:00 and 12:00. In addition, there are playgrounds, crafts and outdoor games that will make short shrift of children’s chocolate-induced energy while family and friends leisurely view the monumental sculpture.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own picnics and drinks (no glass) or to order picnic baskets in advance at the Suikerkan via 082 856 1871 or [email protected] - this bistro will also sell refreshments during the event.
The entrance fee is only R40 per adult, R10 per child and FREE for annual permit holders.
