Suits & Sneakers 10-Year Celebration and New Clubhouse Launch (JHB Edition)

Join us on Wednesday, 23 July as Suits & Sneakers marks TEN YEARS to the day since we hosted our very first event back in 2015. This evening is about celebrating the journey so far and officially stepping into our next chapter as we launch something brand new… Our official clubhouse in Kramerville. We’re moving full steam ahead toward building a true platform to support small business owners.

We’ll have food and drinks on sale to help raise funds, and at some point in the evening, we’ll gather everyone together for a short moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and where we’re going next. Expect lots of familiar faces and a little trip down memory lane.

WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?

Suits & Sneakers is moving The Tryst from Woodmead to Kramerville, but this isn't just a change of location, it’s also a shift in focus. We’re moving away from being an event venue first and becoming an entrepreneurship clubhouse for small business owners. We’ll still host external events, but our priority is now to serve our community of entrepreneurs every day. This event is also a fundraiser to help us equip the clubhouse with everything we need to support small business owners in the best way possible.

WHY A CLUBHOUSE?

Because small businesses in South Africa are desperate for support, and as fellow small business owners, we have decided to become the very platform and structure we wish we had. We launched the Suits & Sneakers membership program in early 2024 and now we are doubling down on that idea. This new space will be the physical home for our growing community. A place to gather, work, meet, learn, create and grow together. We have always said we want to become the guardian angel of small businesses and this clubhouse is the next step in that journey. We will unpack more of this vision on the night.
