The Nala Collective is a Cape Town-based initiative supporting women musicans by providing a safe, empowering space for them to thrive. The collective focuses on performing works by South African women composers, who are often underrepresented, and also includes music by artists like Esperanza Spalding. With a rotating lineup of vocalists, Nala Collective offers opportunities for more talented female singers to be heard, fostering a community where all voices can shine.
?Casks and Chords II runs from 22 January - 26 March at The Queen's Lounge in the V&A Waterfront. Weekly jazz shows on Wednesday nights. Casks and Chords is curated and managed by Nick Ford.
