Get ready for a delightful circular hike around Nagle Dam!

 This adventure takes us through the tunnel under the water, past the waterworks and along other intriguing spots that will leave you in awe.

Event Details:

Meeting Point: Caltex in Cato Ridge at 7:00 AM

Departure: We'll travel in convoy to the starting point

Distance: Approx. 9km

Duration: Around 3 hours (including breaks)

Difficulty Level: Grade 1 – perfect for beginners!

Cost (Includes Reserve Entrance):

Adults: R299 pp

Kids (under 13): R199 pp

Including transport from Durban: R499 pp

Feel free to bring your own drinks, snacks, or meat if you'd like to stay for a picnic/braai after the hike. The reserve has a beautiful picnic area, a kiddies' playground, and clean ablution facilities – everything you need to relax and enjoy the day.

What to bring:

Shoes with good grips (hiking boots or takkies)

Snacks, water, or cold drinks

A cap and backpack

In case of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled and a new date will be provided.

Important Notice:

A minimum of 10 confirmed bookings is required for the event to proceed. If this number is not reached, the event will be cancelled and refunds will be processed.

Grading Of Hikes:

Grade 1 Easy. Minimal fitness required

Grade 2 Not too strenuous. Moderate fitness

Grade 3 Moderate. Physical fitness advisable

Grade 4 Strenuous. Physical fitness essential

Grade 5 Very strenuous - high level of physical fitness essential
