Join us at The Obscene Parrot with singer/songwriter duo The Velvet Media. Velvet Media is an alternative/indie duo in Cape Town. Taking inspiration from bands such as Cigarettes After Sex and The Last Dinner Party. The two touch on themes such as love, family, heartbreak and “messy ass situationships” providing insight into the world of two young people trying to figure it out in a city. With a guitar and two vocalists the band has a raw and authentic sound.
