Introducing Vanessa Lee

Vanessa Lee is from London and is a highly accomplished performer with numerous Musical Theatre credits including Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Starlight Express, We Will Rock You, Showboat, Sister Act, The Great Gatsby, Chicago, Hairspray and The Full Monty. She has performed in sell out world stadium tours sharing the stage with Sarah Brightman and Josh Groban at venues such as Madison Square Garden, Radio City, The Albert Hall, MGM and Wembley Stadium across 3 continents and 90 cities.

Alongside Musical Theatre Vanessa has performed with Jazz bands globally on Caribbean cruise liners, during her 3 years in Germany, a residency in Tokyo and since relocating to Cape Town has appeared at various local venues. Vanessa recently founded Red Hot+Blue Music and produced and performed at the inaugural ‘Jazz on the Green’ held at Riverside Estate in Hout Bay.

Her musical inspiration is largely formed from the Great American Songbook celebrating timeless jazz standards from Hollywood films and Broadway musicals, with favorites from iconic composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Irving Berlin.
