André Leo's Porcelain Fang // Our Local

André Leo is a Cape Town-born musician and record producer residing in Berlin since 2018.

From 2014 - 2019, he formed one half of the dream-noise duo, Medicine Boy, alongside his friend Lucy Kruger, with whom he still frequently collaborates. 

2020 saw the birth of Wombed which started as a solo concept but evolved into a trio celebrating everything from skeletal film scores to grinding post-punk.

‘On planning my annual trip back to the Mother City, I thought it could be an interesting idea to bring some friends together, form a band and play stripped-back versions of some songs I’ve written over the years. Some new ones too.

I feel a few tracks never really got their night out and some I just want to revisit, as I’ve missed them.’

André will be joined by Joshua Van Zyl on guitar, Calvin Siderfin on bass and Werner Von Waltsleben on drums.
