Yamz is a dynamic and multifaceted force in the music world, known for her talents as a DJ, vocalist, and voice-over artist, as well as her advocacy for mental well-being to unlock one’s full potential. With deep roots in both Cameroonian and South African heritage, she hails from the vibrant music scene of Langa, Cape Town. Yamz is a trailblazer, leaving a creative imprint across the African continent through her growing establishment, Alter-Afro.

Last year, Yamz embarked on her debut European tour, making waves at renowned venues and festivals. She made a notable appearance at the iconic Amsterdam Dance Event, showcasing her talents to a global audience. Her German debut at Waagenbau in Hamburg and a standout performance at the celebrated RISE Afro-house movement further solidified her international presence.

Makonwabe known with the DJ name AudioJerk and I also play as of duo STAB Virus. I was born and raised in the township of Langa, in Cape Town, South Africa where I currently reside. I am very passionate about music, I started to DJ around 2009 in the townships playing house music & Gqom. Then I started 9 years ago to play techno, I have since played many clubs and major festivals around the country with both aliases respectively.
