The Green Net, a local South Coast environmental NGO, is delighted to host Smoke J Lawrence - Crowned the African King of the Blues in June 2023, and his Blues Train band at our Reconciliation Day fundraising event.

This will take place at Waves in Umzumbe from 10am on Tuesday December 16 with other local musicians invited to warm up the stage for Smoke, starting at 3pm and honoured to have the legendary David Marks appearing on the day as well. TGN is excited to host local duo 'Narcoustics' who combine psychedelic, live and experimental music making techniques to create organic, neo-shamanic sound journeys using a combination of acoustic and electronic sounds for enjoyment and entertainment.

There will be market stalls, food and drinks (BYOB) and lucky draws throughout the day, as well as The Green Net stand showcasing our plans, projects and answering any environmental questions you may have, and promoting our beautiful new 2025 Kzn Biodiversity calendars.
