This is a workshop running for the 3rd year for grade 10-12 IEB Subject Music teachers.

Topics of discussion:

1. Understanding the syllabus (SAG document) - requirements, necessities and luxuries.
2. Annual planning; term planning and daily planning to ensure all content is covered.
3. Assessment matters: assessment schedules, audio solutions and structure of tests and examinations.
4. Working your way backwards from grade 12 to grade 10 and making sure matrics are adequately prepared.
5. Ideas to teach and assess improvisation & composition.
6. Resources that are helpful.
