Coach Brenda, still reeling from her father's passing, inherits his struggling soccer team. Desperate to save the team and honour her father's legacy, she uses unconventional means. When star player Bophelo suffers a severe injury during a crucial game, Brenda discovers illegal enhancement chips that promise rapid recovery and enhanced performance. Initially, the chips work wonders for Bophelo, and the team starts winning. However, as Bophelo becomes increasingly reliant on the chips, he develops an addiction. The chips begin to malfunction, causing bizarre glitches in his body and affecting his game and relationships. As Bophelo's dependence grows, Brenda's moral compass begins to waver. She's torn between winning and protecting her player. In a climactic showdown, Bophelo's glitches catastrophically worsen, causing him to collapse on the field. Defeated and humbled, Brenda resorts to returning to her childhood home, seeking solace with her mother.
