CANDYFLIP

Co-owner of one of our favourite music homes The Commons in Muizenberg, CandyFlip is an exclusively vinyl DJ serving grooves from across the diaspora. Spending many years in London and building a carefully crafted collection from her iconic music venue, CandyFlip has a deep appreciation for music and expression. If she’s not behind the decks she’s right in front of them on any dancefloor.

MANA

Multi-disciplinary artist MANA's multi-genre DJ sets highlight the global South & future femme creators ensuring their representation in the global music scene.

As a DJ, MANA has performed at festivals in the Netherlands and popular underground venues & parties in Cape Town. Trademarked by her love for groove & deep cuts, she always leaves crowds jumping and begging for more.

As a vocalist & composer, she has toured parts of Africa, Europe and South America and is known for her immersive multimedia concerts. She has completed residencies in association with Sun Ra Arkestra and Birds’ Eye Jazz Club in Switzerland and has recently released her debut EP ‘Orb’ alongside a self directed short film/visualiser titled ‘Every Seven’.

KIRKO

Kirko is a fresh DJ based in Cape Town who unapologetically gets you to the dance floor. Whether she's exploring funk, groovy global techno or starting fires with post rave sounds, you better expect to sweat.
