I Deserve it Summer Fest

The I Deserve It Summer Fest is a vibrant, two-day event designed to bring together community members, small businesses, and families for a festive weekend of fun, shopping, and impactful activities. Organized by I Deserve It (IDI), this market aims to provide an enjoyable experience for attendees while raising funds to support essential community initiatives.

This event combines a lively marketplace with various vendors, an exciting obstacle course, and a community walk to bring awareness towards GBV and encourage tolerance of others, self-appreciation and overall mindfulness. Portions of the funds raised will be allocated to critical causes, such as supporting the GBV crisis, UCT MSA community projects, IDI’s skill development programs as well as assist other collaborating NGO’s raise funds to support their initiatives. With an expected attendance of 1,000 to 1,500 people over the weekend, the I Deserve It Summer Fest is set to be a memorable and impactful gathering for a good cause.
