Home Made Jams Summer Edition

Home Made Jams is a collaboration between friends.

Bringing our love of diverse music and delicious food together to cultivate an intimate celebration of creativity. All right here in our lounge!

This is the third edition of Home Made Jams, and with every one we invite new artists and creatives to come and share along side us.

Our Musicians are:

AshweetA are a Cape Town based quartet who fuse Psychedelic Goema , funk , dubjazz and afrobeat into a sonic stew

thats rich in groove and gets hips swaying. Consisting of Curve on bass and vocals, Brandon Ruiters on trumpet ,

Wayde Hardy on percussion and Dan Boshoff on guitars.

Monwabisi "Soulitude" Dasi is a cultural activist. To create and communicate is his mission and purpose on earth.

Soulitude is not alone, he brings with him Riceine and Karla (vocals), Jacques (Lead guitar) Adam (Bass),

Simirick Yarrow (Piano & trombone), Aurel (Beatbox). Coming together from across the Peninsula,

they bring you a rich combination of Jazz, funk, Storytelling, Rhythm, Soul and Poetry.

There will be delicious food available from Pickle and Pinch Catering co. So come hungry!

There will be drinks available, this is a bring your own cup affair (because we don't want to wash your dishes)

We have invited some of Muizenberg's creatives to come and share their ware in our home made market.

So remember, cash is king!
