ABOUT

Please join The Gardens of The Golden City in the tranquillity of The Sanctuary Garden for an hour of Mindful Movement and Meditation with Dr Sumayya Ebrahim.

The session will comprise of 45 minutes of movement and 15 minutes of meditation.

 

Dress in comfortable clothing that doesn't inhibit movement and wear a sunhat.

 

Please bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. (If you don't have a yoga mat, let us know, and we will arrange one for you.)

No prior experience is necessary.


Your ticket includes access to The Gardens of The Golden City Open Garden at The Sanctuary, we recommend arriving early to give yourself time to to wander through the beautiful landscaped space that was created to respect and welcome healing, wellbeing and transformation.

 

Proceeds will go to this season's Gardens of the Golden City chosen charities - Mme Dimpho Hani Early Childhood Development Centre and Animal Allies.

 

About Mindful Movement

The principles of mindful movement are the same as any other mindfulness practice. We aim to bring our full attention to the present moment to experience the here and now. We bring our awareness to our movement and focus on our breath or the way our body feels as it moves.
