The Mzansi National Philharmonic Orchestra takes the stage this December with Voices of Home — its most expansive tour yet — celebrating the spirit and sound of South Africa. Led by global conducting icon Marin Alsop, and joined by South African captivating cellist Abel Selaocoe, the unmissable tour combines African soul with a re-imagined classical tradition featuring Selaocoe’s Four Spirits Cello Concerto — a genre-defining work that channels ancient memory, contemporary rhythm, and the unmistakable pulse of home. The concert ends on an emotional high with Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 2 which is renown for its lush melodies.
