ABOUT
BRING A CUSHION. (OR RENT A SLOUCH!)
BRING A QUESTION.
The Curious Exchange is an interview-style, interactive (yes, that means you can get involved) gathering on the 2nd Wed of every month, where we get to laugh, learn and connect over topics that can support us in living happier, healthier more conscious lives - from people who are really passionate about them.
THIS EVENT:
nutrition for your brain + what is pain?
Meet Hannah Kaye: nutritional therapist with a special interest in longevity, brain health and nutritional psychiatry. She is passionate about the belief that a functional approach to health, therapeutic nutrition and an active lifestyle can enhance everyone's quality of life. Check out her website for more.
Meet Dr Johan Van Der Walt: specialist anaesthetist and pain physician at Groote Schuur Hospital. He has a specific interest in how people experience chronic pain and pain-related suffering and is exploring new ways that pain could be reframed and treated, including psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Online Slouch bookings are now closed. But if you arrive at 18h30, there may still be one or two to book at R75 each. They are fun, very comfy and adjustable for more comfort on the floor.
