Chingada's Mexican Cantina is throwing the biggest CINCO de MAYO fiesta the Eastern Cape has ever seen, and we are going to celebrate this momentus occasion alongside our Familia in Mexico the only way we know how.... MUCHO TEQUILA and MUCHO ROCK N ROLL!!!!
Cinco De Mayo is an annual Mexican Festival that celebrates the victory of when a small army of Mexicans took on the French and kicked their asses at the Battle of Puebla on the 5th of May back in 1862!
So in that spirit, it seems only right that we kick this evening off with the tightest RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE tribute act to ever grace our shores, and if you missed them last time at Chingada's, overlook this at your own peril... it could be your last chance!!!
HEADLINING the event we have RED TAPE RIOT back in the bay, and performing for the first time ever at Chingada's!!!
RED TAPE RIOT is a five piece Indie Band from CT which formed back in 2012, with a toetapping groove that you cant help but bounce to, which is also why it comes as no surprise that these guys are gearing up and taking their talents on an international tour!!!
This is definitely not one to be missed as who knows when next they will be passing through the friendly city.
We are tenting over part of the parking lot, so weather is not an issue, and with some outside bars in partnership with CORONA & el Jimador Tequila, this is setting up to be PE's RADDEST Rock n Roll event of the year so far!
