Nqabenhle Manama
Asset Manager at Growthpoint Properties
Nqabenhle Manama is currently as Asset Manager at Growthpoint Properties. Growthpoint is the biggest listed property fund in South Africa with assets close to R100 billion. His responsibilities include providing strategic direction of the property fund. This involves managing financial performance of the assets, overseeing sales and acquisitions from start to finish, extracting maximum value on the properties and identifying redevelopment opportunities on the existing portfolio. He is also responsible for due diligence exercises.
Before Growthpoint, Nqabenhle was an Asset Manager in the Direct Property Franchise at STANLIB . His responsibilities included managing all direct property segregated mandates and the setting up and managing of property funds in East Africa (Kenya and Uganda) and Southern Africa (Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana).
Nqabenhle joined STANLIB after 9 years with Standard Bank. There, he spent eight months in internal audit, three and a half years as head of the Africa Tax team and 5 years at Standard Bank Properties as a Property Asset Manager.

Gareth William Shepperson is a qualified Attorney and Conveyancer, with certificates in Advanced Tax and in Business Rescue. He specialises in Property Law, Commercial Law and Trusts, and attends to any litigation that may flow from these activities.
