National Alpaca Day @ The Alpaca Loom Coffee Shop and Weaving Studio

Alpacas produced the golden fleece of the Incas. Once upon a time it was said that alpaca fiber was weighed up in gold, and clothes made from it were only worn by royalty.
 Nowadays, alpacas are most famous for their cuddly looks and are loved by young and old alike.
However, there is a great future for alpacas in agriculture as commercial fiber producers, too.

 Visit us on National Alpaca Day and celebrate the alpaca with us!

 Regular Alpaca Barn Tours (11:00, 13:00 & 15:00) will bring you closer to our youngest crias (lambs) and also give an insight into alpaca farming.
 Alpaca products available at the shop.
 Last but not least there's delicious coffee and cake, too...
