ABOUT
RMB Ultra-trail Cape Town - Pacers for UTCT 100 Miler
Our event has been given the green light to allow pacers to join the UTCT miler runners during certain portions of the race, typically in the later stages, to provide motivation, companionship, and safety.
Pacers are there to help keep the runner on route, offer encouragement, and assist with navigating tricky terrain or maintaining focus, especially during night sections or moments of fatigue. Pacers cannot carry the runner’s gear or push them physically but serve as crucial mental and emotional support to help the runner.
