About the presenter:

Elisma van Duyn

Elisma completed her occupational therapy degree at the University of the Free State in 2020. She completed her community service year at Nic Bodenstein Hospital in Wolmaranstad in 2021 and started working at Cintocare hospital in Pretoria in 2022. She was first exposed to working in an MDT setting here.

During her time her, she was briefly exposed to spinal rehabilitation which sparked her interest.

Elisma joined Rita Henn and Partners in Auckland Park in 2023 and feels privileged to work within the spinal unit where she has completely fallen in love with this field of practice!

Elisma loves learning and expanding her field of knowledge in order to grow professionally, personally and in order to provide the best care for her patients. When she is not at work, you will most likely find her with her family, curled up on the couch with a book and her fur babies, attempting a new DIY project, doing some kind of outdoor activity or trying to finish that 3000-piece puzzle!
