About the presenters:
Maretha Bekker
Maretha graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1990. She obtained her Masters degree from the University of Pretoria in 2014. Maretha worked in paediatric private practice between 1992-2006. Between 2006-2018 she lectured at the University of Pretoria. From 2018 Maretha started doing vision therapy at Heath Wentzel Optometrists. She re-opened her private practice in 2020 and continue with her work in this capacity and at Heath Wentzel Optometrists till this day.
Maretha is NDT trained and had completed several sensory integration courses She completed the Tomatis® level 1 course in 2022. She enjoys working with children between the ages of 5 and 9 years old.
