ABOUT

In celebration of Global Entrepreneur Week this November, Black Cherrie Management Holdings will proudly host the Women in Agriculture Business Seminar at the Anew Hunter's Rest Hotel in Rustenburg. This event is designed to bring together like-minded women in agriculture to network, share insights, and enhance their entrepreneurial skills in the agricultural and green sectors.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), women contribute an estimated 50% to 80% of agricultural labour globally. They play a crucial role in producing subsistence food and often contribute significantly to cash crop production. The FAO further notes that if women had the same access to resources as men, agricultural productivity could increase by up to 30%, potentially reducing global poverty by up to 17%.

This seminar is aimed at empowering women across various stages of the agricultural business journey, whether they have a brand-new idea, an established farming business, or are considering a career transition into agriculture. The event will provide attendees with actionable tools and strategies to elevate their businesses and adapt to the evolving agri-business landscape.
