AMASA CT #SpeakerSeries will host Aidan Baigrie on the 17th of May.
Aidan Baigrie is on the global marketing solutions team for Facebook and Instagram in Africa and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Aidan brings more than a decade of advisory experience in the emerging mobile market to Facebook, especially with his experience as a founding member of SEACOM, the African broadband disruptor.
Aidan is accountable for Facebook's growth in over 40 countries. He has also overseen the Brand, eCommerce, Finance and FMCG businesses in Africa for Facebook since his time there. He has a strong numeric and highly analytical focus and a decade of start-up and restructuring experience.
A board member of the Mobile Marketing Association of South Africa, Aidan brings a unique perspective to problem solving. This stems from his diverse experience - his early days of coding and app development, lean reengineering in Africa's largest banks, advising on turnaround plans, and expansion strategies for many businesses and leading some of the most dynamic tech startup projects in Africa.
Aidan’s talk will focus on the future of Facebook.
