Hosted by Jay Maan, the renowned Mr. Braai Guy, and Frits Brune, a Court of Master's Certified Sommelier, this experience promises to delight your senses with expertly prepared dishes and perfectly paired Allée Bleue Estate wines.
Welcome Drinks:
- Start the evening with a refreshing Allée Bleue Estate Rosé or Sauvignon Blanc glass.
Starter:
- Indulge in French-trimmed lamb loin or lamb rump, expertly braai'ed over an open fire. Served with lemon zest labneh, chargrilled asparagus, and curried almonds.
- Paired with Allée Bleue Estate Pinotage.
Main Course:
- Savour a lightly smoked and braised aged beef rib with Asian-inspired flavours, served with smoked parsnip purée, corn salsa crudo, and a fire-roasted beetroot, feta, and walnut salad.
- For a lighter option, choose the beef fillet, braai'ed to perfection and accompanied by a mushroom sauce, pickled shiitake mushrooms, smoked parsnip purée, and corn salsa crudo.
- Paired with Allée Bleue L'Amour Toujours.
Dessert:
- A platter for 2-4 featuring fresh chargrilled fruit, including smoked and spiced pineapple and balsamic-glazed strawberries, served with smoked vanilla ice cream and honey-roasted almonds.
