Q: What are your thoughts on this practice?
A: My dance career spans 44 years. In the last decades, Contact Improvisation has become an increasingly valuable technique for relating to other people through body
movement by studying what it means to connect with another person physically. I have a deep commitment to this practice, especially in a world where physical engagement
is often fraught with interpersonal challenges. My involvement with the scholarly group in the Contact Improvisation Cape Town class emphasizes the importance of
this ongoing exploration, philosophy, and ethics which supports a richer and more profound understanding of humanity. I believe my dedication to fostering these
qualities through dance truly contributes to the complex dialogue about human contact today.
