Sauti Za Afrika

Sauti Za Afrika is group of emerging artists who connected though the love of jazz at the South African College of Music, UCT. This group of young musicians aims to use music as a way to connect with one another and with other people, sharing their identities and telling their stories through music. This performance celebration is in honour of heritage month, where we culminate our own expressions of heritage through Afro jazz and poetry. Our music is heavily influenced by South African Jazz and some African inspired traditional vocal and percussive sounds. Join us and celebrate our new sound and soulful expressions through the gifts of jazz and poetry.
