Learn How to Make a Multilayered, Multicoloured Lino Print
Join us for Lino Eatery's first workshop in collaboration with Talia Bingham.
This workshop is suitable for beginner to intermediate printmakers, where you will learn how to create a reduction print.
What is reduction printing:
Reduction printmaking is the process of creating a multicoloured and multilayered print using only one sheet of linoleum.
This is done by gradually carving away more lino after each layer is printed. The process of carving away and printing is repeated on the same block until the final print is built up.
What's included:
4 hour lino printing session guided by Talia Bingham
1 x A5 final artwork print
All materials, including printmaking paper, inks/mediums, pressing tools etc
Light Snacks
*Bring your own drinks and ice.
No need to bring anything else along.
What you'll learn:
Guests learn how to create a reduction lino print on paper.
They will be guided from design and tracing, through transfer and carving, to rolling and printing layer by layer.
