In this absurdist comedy, things are about to go off with a bang. When a street explodes in the slums of Biatlopol, leaving a young mother homeless, the town descends into a circus of chaos. Three politicians – Tomczak, the trigger-happy cowboy; Dabrowska, the relentless power-hound; and Kowalski, the sex-fuelled deviant – claw their way through scandal, betrayal, and bloodshed to seize the mayor’s throne. As corruption oozes from every corner, and dark secrets come to light, the town teeters on the edge of annihilation.
The Candidate draws back the curtain on the farce of political machinations; a riotous look at how corruption is born and bred.
The show is PG 18 (Nudity, Language, Sexually Explicit)
