AI and the Food System Conference

ABOUT

A full day in-person conference anchored by key regional AI thought leaders and practitioners drawn from the Centre of Excellence in Food Security's Innovation Lab, the Data Science for Social Impact research group at the University of Pretoria, and the Global Centre on AI Governance. 

The morning will lay out global geopolitical AI context, AI in Africa, current movements and opportunities as well as current commercial applications. The afternoon will focus on AI and African food systems.
