Fishing with Purpose Competition

Hosted by Southern Cross Schools

Join us for a day of fun, fishing, and conservation at the "Fishing with Purpose" competition! This event is dedicated to raising funds for the Scales Conservation Fund and Cape Vulture conservation efforts.

Event Details:

• Date: 7th September 2024
• Time: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Registration opens at 6:00 AM)
• Location: Klaserie Dam, Hoedspruit

Competition Highlights:

• Prizes for the biggest bass, barbel, carp, and most fish caught
• Catch and release policy to ensure sustainability
• Entry Fees: (excluding gate entry fees)
• Anglers: R150
• Day Visitors: R30
• Kids under 3 years: Free

Additional Information:

• No boats allowed
• Bring your cooler boxes
• Lucky draw
• Food stalls available

• Registration: 6:00 AM
• Fishing: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Prize Giving: 4:00 PM
