Join us for a day of immersing yourself in leather work and learning to make yourself a pair of cozy sheepskin leather slippers or a pair of sustainably sourced leather boots with a sheepskin lining. This class includes a copy of the pattern for you to enjoy remaking at home, all leather and tools supplied
About your facilitator:
Summer Francisco is a passionate leather crafter, they have been in their field for over 20 years making bespoke orders, and have been hosting workshops for the past 12 years.
This leather workshop will teach you rudimentary skills used in handmade leather production. Leatherwork is a heritage craft. It has been done for over 80000 years and by species other than homo-sapiens. It is ingrained in our ancestry. From this workshop, you have gained the knowledge needed to embark on your own creative leather-working journey.
